A true revelation in the 2017 edition of the Cannes Festival, this film will immerse viewers in the first AIDS awareness campaigns throughout the 1980s.

Early 1990s. With AIDS having already claimed countless lives for nearly ten years, Act Up-Paris activists multiply their actions to fight against total indifference.

Nathan, a newcomer to the organization, has his world shaken up by Sean, a radical campaigner, who throws his last bits of strength into his commitment to the cause.

120 Beats Per Minute is presented by Edko Films LTD.

"BPM delivers an absorbing story of AIDS activism through the naturalism of its performances and the nimbleness and fluidity of its editing."
A. O. Scott
The New York Times
"BPM is vital for the history it depicts, but it’s also important in the here and now, as a testament to public action — even messy, not-always-effective public action."
David Edelstein
